Scratching is a natural behavior in cats. Cats typically use scratching to convey a territorial message to other cats, or scratching could also be a sign of stress and anxiety.

WHAT CAUSES STRESS AND ANXIETY?

-Changes in the home (furniture is introduced or moved)

-Tension and conflicts in multi-cat households

Scratching is the first reported concern in stressed cats.

For families with one or more cats experiencing inappropriate scratching, the makers of Feliway have come up with a solution.

Feliscratch works to redirect cats to their scratching post. It can be used for newly adopted cats or kittens, as well as adult cats already living in your home.

HOW DO I USE IT?

Place your scratching post over a sink or on a newspaper and slowly apply the liquid by drawing two or three vertical lines on the post. Let dry for 5 minutes and then place the post close to the area where your cat usually scratches.

You apply one pipette to the scratching post daily for one week, then one pipette is used at the beginning of the third and fourth week.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

-Contains Pheromones to direct cats to scratch on the surface where the product has been applied

-Contains Catnip to help attract your cat to the scratching post

-Makes blue stained lines to mimic a visual message

WHAT IF MY CAT HAS BEEN SCRATCHING FOR A LONG TIME?

Feliscratch along with the Feliway pheromone spray is recommended. Apply feliscratch to the scratching post and apply 8 sprays of feliway where your cat is exhibiting unwanted scratching once daily.
