Pet Dental Care
Dental health is an incredibly important part of keeping your pet pain-free and healthy. Unfortunately, by the age of three, most pets show signs of periodontal disease. This is a painful condition, and can actually shorten their lifespan. But not to worry! Periodontal disease is no match for our expert veterinary team. Everything we do is done with the highest standards, and we will make sure that your pet is getting the absolute best veterinary care there is.
Today we took our newly-adopted senior rescue Golden Retrievers, Buddy and Cedar, for their first vet visit as part of our family. We could not be happier with the way the visit went. The attention they were given was very thorough, as well as very kind and gentle. The dogs showed no signs of being upset about anything! Loyal Companions will definitely be the only place we take Buddy and Cedar in the future. For possibly the first time in our lives, taking a dog to the vet was a low-stress, even pleasant experience! Thank you!
We have tried several other vets in the area and none compare to this place where they treat the pets AND the owners with care and respect. A very clean, pleasant and modern office, with welcoming staff, and much less emphasis on talking to you across a desk. We were escorted right into a bright, clean exam room with a soft, low “bed” for our dog, and a chair for his human. No stainless steel cold exam tables here! The doctor and staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Their pricing is also competitive, if not less than what we experienced elsewhere!
Dr. Petsche and the environment she has created at Loyal Companions is unmatched. She truly lets her passion for animals shine through in her practice. She and her team are extremely attentive to the experience, including animal pheromones and music in the exam rooms to truly make your pet feel safe and comfortable. Among the time spent answering our initial questions, she spent a good time interacting with Max (our new puppy) to create a relationship and was interested to see how his training is going already – Our initial visit with our new puppy was over an hour! Can’t say enough good things about Dr. Petsche and her team. Truly a unique approach to animal care!
What To Expect
The first step is to give us a call to schedule an oral examination!
During your pet’s exam, we will look for signs of periodontal disease, and will be able to recommend either home care or a professional cleaning. We can also answer any questions you might have.
If a cleaning is recommended, we will be able to clean beneath your pet’s gum line, where periodontal disease lives. Typically, there is an immediate reduction in the oral pain your pet feels, and a substantial boost to their prognosis.
